Troubleshoot with LTE 4G Tester tools & Wifi/Wireless Site Survey Software

Two types of networks that users can opt for, either it is wired or wireless. In case of these cases, your network may occur some problems, failures, and faults hence you will need to troubleshoot your network by identifying a network problem. Let’s discuss the wired network and wireless network. So, now let us see how to troubleshoot Wired and Wireless Networks with Accurate 4G Tester, 4G LTE Tester, 4G Network Tester and VOLTE Testing tools & Equipment and Accurately Best wireless site survey software, site survey tools for wireless networks & Wifi site survey software app.

wired network uses cables to connect devices (laptops or desktop computers) to the internet and that is connected at one end to an Ethernet port on the network router and the other end to a computer or other device. The wired network consists of over 800 network devices that provide a mixture of 100 Megabit and 1 Gigabit network jacks, but one main disadvantage is that your device is tethered to a router.

A wireless network allows devices such as laptops or desktop computers to stay connected to the network, but roam untethered to any wires, which means a device can be connected to the network even if it keeps far from a router. For example, a wireless network is something when you connect to a Wi-Fi hotspot at a cafe, a hotel, an airport lounge, or another public place. The wireless network is constantly expanding to provide more, and better coverage based on the 802.11 b/g (Wi-Fi) standard.

We are living in this world where the internet has become an essential part of our livelihood. Due to an ample number of mobile phones being used by users, network traffic has increased rapidly therefore companies are experiencing troubleshooting network problems.  It is important to know about certain network troubleshooting issues that need to be fixed. Let’s get started.

1. No connectivity: When you experience your computer not communicating to a particular network with other network devices, which means there is no connectivity to the internet. Such troubleshooting issues could be caused by several factors –

  • Determining the absence of connectivity, if your computer fails to ping then it’s obvious that there is some network problem.
  • A problem like the adapter configurations in the computer arises due to incorrect configuration of the device to a particular subnet mask.

2. Limited connectivity: When your device has access to some connection but not fully, which means there is limited connectivity. You can troubleshoot such an issue by checking the connection’s bandwidth or checking the network adapters.

3. Loss of local connectivity: At times, you will find your device is not able to communicate with other devices on the same local network, which means local connectivity gets lost. You can troubleshoot such an issue which happens due to some mismatch in the subnets.

4. Intermittent connectivity: When you are having duplicate IP addresses on a particular network, which means an intermittent connectivity network problem is there. Such network problem leads to a situation where some devices can barely communicate with each other. To eliminate such a problem, make sure all network users have a unique IP address and there are no duplicate IP addresses on the network maybe by removing one of the devices.

5. Slow networks: This troubleshooting issue can arise due to many reasons and the networking hardware could be the cause of such an issue. To solve the network slow-down issue, you can set your network speed manually so that it remains constant and look at the networking cables.

In addition, some of the wireless network problems or troubleshooting issues are as follows:

  • Improper hardware configuration: Make sure hardware should withstand the traffic load of the network along with providing a seamless connection. But in case, it decreases productivity, you can find troubleshooting issues.
  • Extreme RFI (radio frequency interference): This kind of troubleshooting occurs when an external source emits unwanted radio signals to affect the network’s electricity conduction and it causes interference in the signal.

There are several tools that can be used as network troubleshooting tools to correct network problems, and RantCell is one of the best tools in this regard. RantCell is a mobile phone-based Android and iOS app that plays a very important role in ensuring top-notch efficiency in your networks’ operations. You just need to install this app to your test device and monitor the network on 4G/5G/Wi-Fi coverages by analyzing on KPIs such as voice calls, sms test, data speed, ping test, and more. This will help you to provide QoE in real-time.
